Note To Self

"But sometimes, I'm just tired of trying.
Tired of being the one who cares the most
Tired of being the only one who seems to put 100% in it
Tired of being the one everyone depends on
Tired of living up to each and every one of those expectation
Tired of never making my dream comes true
Tired of figuring out what life means"

Is that you?
Is that what you feel today?
Have you ever thought that before?
Lots of us have
Here's some secret for you;
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

You're gonna be okay.
Just don't give up just yet
You are called to give more for you've been given more
If you can do it, don't run from it
Go and seize those opportunity
For then one day, you'll understand what it's worth.

Your every sacrifices
Your every tears
Your every just one more time struggle
It matters.
You might not know it now, but you matter.

Keep your head held high
Keep on the good fight you're fighting
It's okay to tell your trusted one what you're facing
There's bound to be lots of people that care, but only if you reach out.

Here's what I know,
whatever it is, in the end,
You are gonna be just fine.

  1. Nooooope. Definite nope.
Indeed, optimism has its own perks and all, making you:
    - see the positive outlook in life
    - believe in another chance
    - continue to pursue your goals without looking back

    But it kills you.

The world isn't that simple and beautiful of a place. Attempting to continuously find hope in the midst of despair can only lead you to the worst of outcomes, and all of this due to your stupidly optimistic life choices.

Indeed, it can make you achieve what you never thought you could, reaching for greater heights, but is that what you want? A dead soul whose purpose in life is so artificial and fabricated through strings of lies?

"One thing that can be the ultimate remedy for the soul. Content." (Terisno, 2018, Jan 10)
Optimism isn't the best option you've got. No. It's realism.

Look at reality and try to see what's wrong with it. If it's not feasible to fix in the first place, why bother? You're not the person with the best skills in the world. Others can repair this wretched race of humanity much better than you.

    You're worthless.

Once you've got that kind of mentality, you'll realize that life is probably meaningless, but at least now, you'll be able to see the true face of life that has been hidden from your optimistic way of life this entire time.

    So what to do now?

Well, if you've understood just how void of meaning your life truly is, you might want to follow the wise words from Regret (TPOW): "do whatever you want but regret nothing". Then maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to go through life just OK.

    1. there's a difference in being unrealistically optimistic and having a hope. One vibrant hope that gives you the power to go through it all. The one real hope that helps you to understand the purpose of this life. Hope that comes from the all knowing creator Himself. Hope held by the almighty hand that design all lives. Yours and mind.

Thank you very much for reading!
I appreciate your opinion and comment very much
      Stay tune for more :)

Things Taken For Granted

"The things we take for granted are the things we long for the most when they're gone" After bringing up the idea to my instagram story, I learnt from friends' kind responses that most of us have that little things that we have been taking for granted in this life. Things that worth so much more than we realise but we kind of forget just because we got them by grace, we got them already, and we got them without sacrificing much of ourselves. Little do we know, these things we take for granted, they are not going to be there forever and always and that is exactly why I wish for us all to take a moment to embrace it all and give these things more credit that we gave them for these things deserves so much more than this. Life. How often is it we forget that each day when we are able to open up our eyes to the bright sunlight is a grace in itself. It doesn't matter how hard, how miserable, how boring, how lonely you might feel your days currently are, the very b...

We Are Who We Are

"We are who we are,” A line of one of my current ongoing tv series good doctor that suddenly become a jolt of inspiration to reflect, to write once again. We are who we are and indeed we are all different. One very introvert and need her own space, one never runs out of the so called social battery. One likes to cook and bake and paint, one, on the other hand, likes to do math and statistic and accounting. One is very practical and energy conscious, the other one very in the moment and living life to the fullest. These differences, it sometimes feel like the barrier of us getting along. It sometimes feel like with each differences, the further away we become from creating a long-lasting friendship filled with “unconditional” love. Sometimes too, these differences create a heavy burden of expectation. Expectation to be slightly less different, expectation to change who you are for the sake of being “belong” in a group of people, expectation to di...

Making a Difference (?)

Looking at the million stars above me, wondering how far they all are, how wide this universe is, there's only one way this brain can go, "how on earth is the little insignificant me is supposed to make a change in this world?". There were some points in my life when I dreamed to be inspiring. Inspiring enough to be heard by millions, inspiring enough for thousands of people to follow me on social media, and inspiring enough for hundreds of people to read my blog posts. The dream to inspire was based on the hope that my life could mean something, could bring a change, could make this world just a little bit better. But then there were moments like these. When I realised that no matter how "inspiring" or not I am, it's kind of making zero difference in this world. I mean who are we? Just a speck of dust within the galaxy says Adam Levine's lost stars. How impactful should one be to change the world? Being a president? Being a miss universe? Being...
